Alright, spyed posted a journal back on 8/22/2015 and you seriously should take a read of it before reading what I have to say:

First off, I want to thank you spyed for admitting that your a money grubbing snob in this journal. (Well, that was what I got from it by reading his talk about coffee. -_-) Also, yet again during your whole coffee thing, you forget that in different states and in different countries coffee can be cheaper or even more expensive than where you are at. -_- I think your such a stuck up California snob that you cannot see past how much things cost in your bloody state. Also, the machines you are talking about cost cheaper in each state and so does the stuff that goes with them. (I do not know about other countries, but I do not know other states.)

spyed, let me break this down easy for your "artistic" mind to understand. Each state has there own minimum wage and in the Federal Government there is also a set minimum wage that the states can use instead of coming up with their own. Now, let's get go on more. There are so STATES LIKE California that is expensive to live in like California, so that state's minimum wage is $9.00 as you have pointed out in your journal. I know this because I have lived there once and try to keep track of those things in case I decide to move back. (Not likely since you stuck up Californians think that you are so much better than the rest of the US that you had to make farmers that sell chicken products in the US to your bloody state change how they operate or they would not be able to sell chicken products in California, which intel rosed the price of chicken and eggs across the US. -_- Yes, I keep track of this because I wish California would just fall off the US from one of it's earthquakes. (I know that everyone out there is not bad, but the majority of Californians I ran into out there always acted like they were better than everyone and would not even get out of their seats on a bus for a pregnant women, elderly, or someone that was disable and with how I was rosed, that went against every fiber of my being.) Now let me get back on track.) Now let's go and list out other states in the US minimum wages and I will be doing it in alphabetical order because of my OCD.

Now before we get into the list, let me help you with how I formatted everything. Anything that is California minimum wage or higher is Italics, anything bold is the lowest states minimum wages, anything underline goes by Federal minimum wage, a strikeout is a state that repealed it's minimum wage, and anything in

Employers not covered by the FLSA will be subject to a minimum wage that is at least 70 percent of the Federal minimum wage or the applicable mandatory decree rate of $5.08, whichever is higher. The Secretary of Labor and Human Resources may authorize a rate based on a lower percentage for any employer who can show that implementation of the 70 percent rate would substantially curtail employment in that business.)
  4. Virgin Islands:

$7.25/$4.30 ($4.30 for businesses with gross annual receipts of less than $150,000.)
Note: I did notice while doing some deep research into this that cities in California have there own minimum wage which to me is just so confusing. @.@ I guess it is another way that Californians want to say fuck you to the rest of us.

Federal minimum wage in the US is $7.25.

Note: All of this is per hourly income.

Now, since I am so bloody tired after listing th US minimum wage I will leave a link for every counties AVERAGE minimum wage since I am just to tired to do another list: en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_…

If you want to double check me on the states and territories of the US go here: www.ncsl.org/research/labor-an…

If you want the Federal one than just Google it like I did. -_- I did to much work as it is.

Anyways, what I am getting at with all of this is that your price of coffee, machine, or whatever you do to get coffee, spyed, is only good where you are at. The rest of us have things cheaper in the US especially if you live in Georgia and Wyoming. Also, take note that the majority of the US works on minimum wage, like me, and the ones that are not still at home and have a job of their own cannot afford your style of living. We have bills that some times we either just get paid on time or even late and with the cost you have made of Core no one that can barely make it as is will not pay for something as expensive as Core. I am the type of person that budgets myself. I do not spend more than $20 on myself on any giving week because I need to pay for my food, gas, laundry every week, which each ones cost varies. (I have to get fast food because of work some times and I have to drive all over my city or even into another state for my job, so I need gas money.) Than I have the monthly cost of my cell phone, $60, my electric, roughly around $140, rent, $200 luckily and I get away with making payments, and water, this varies. Every six months I have to pay my car insurance which is around $400. Now, I am in a state that makes between $8 to $8.99 per hour and my job hours vary bigger than hell. What this means is that some months I cannot even keep my head above the bloody water, so I do not have that $20 spend on my budget. Other months I get to have it every wake, but also one thing about my spending budget, I put it back most of the time in case something pops up. Say for example that my tired goes, I can get me a new tire, or if something as major as my transmission goes, I can afford to get it fix or if I have those months where my head is not above water, I can still afford to get some things I need and even than, sometimes I will cut my food budget by not spending it on fast food or buying my Mocha Fraps.

spyed, I know you thinking behind your journal here. I really do. Your trying to show things in your light, but in all bloody honesty, mate, not every person has the money you do, so get over yourself and ask the community that you created how things are really like for them and they will all probably tell you the same thing I just have. We cannot simply afford supporting your cup of coffee.

Now, you pointed out that somewhere along the line that people make $12.50, but what I saw by state wage there is no minimum wage that is $12.50 per hour. o0o This is a shocker. Well, no, not really anyways. From what I have read, L.A., which deviantART is base out of the Hollywood area of L.A., has a city minimum wage of $9, but has voted to raise it to $15 per hour by 2020. This does not mean that it is already $12.50 an hour out there, but there are probably some companies that are raising it already, so that they can already be in compliance with the new city minimum wage. (Yes, yes I do do research into things when I believe in matters as strongly as I do about Core.)

Now, let's get to something else since this whole "coffee" thing annoys the ever living shit out of me. Not everyone drinks coffee. Some people drink tea, other's drink soda, and I know a lot of people that drink just water. o0o I can buy a 24 pack of Dr. Pepper Cherry for $5.48 at Sam's Club. Slightly more than the new cost of a one month, but I can buy a 36 pack of Dr. Pepper for $10.48 at Sam's Club which is cheaper than the 3 month Core Membership. o0o Wow, how can this be? Well, because you are not actually pricing things by bulk like some people think you are. O0O Oh, my God!!!! Loki, please do something!!!! XD (Sorry, I had to throw in a little joke. Been serious way to much in my journals about Core and trying not to cuss, which I know I did a couple of times in this.)

So, spyed, what do you actually have to say about these points I pointed out since you obviously notice not only my journal about the bloody coffee comment, but others as well?

Note, I will keep doing this with your journals if I can actually do research when I discover them.

(This journal is protected under my 1st amendment right as a US citizen.)

:new:Thanks to Poetic-Dragon I have received some more information about minimum wage that I did not find during my research, so please, go check out her comment to me: comments.deviantart.com/1/5559…
